Terms of Service

By accessing or using Laminar ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

Laminar is a subscription management and spend analytics platform that helps organizations track, analyze, and optimize their software subscriptions. The Service connects to third-party financial and productivity tools—including Xero, QuickBooks, Google Workspace, and GitHub—to aggregate transaction data, subscription data, and usage activity within your organization.

• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
• You must register using a valid Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must promptly notify us of any unauthorized access to your account at [email protected].

Laminar operates on an organization-based model. An Org Admin may invite users and assign roles (Manager, Financial Admin). The Org Admin is responsible for managing access and ensuring that all users within their organization comply with these Terms.

The Service integrates with third-party platforms including but not limited to:

• Xero — for financial transaction data
• QuickBooks — for financial transaction data
• Google Workspace — for user directory and OAuth activity monitoring
• GitHub — for software subscription seat and usage tracking
• Gmail — for authorized send actions on behalf of users

By connecting a third-party integration, you authorize Laminar to access and store data from that platform on your behalf, subject to that platform's terms of service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to connect your organization's accounts. You may disconnect integrations at any time from your account settings.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulations.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service.
• Use the Service to store or transmit malicious code.
• Resell or sublicense access to the Service without prior written consent.

Laminar is offered on a paid subscription basis with monthly billing. Subscription fees are charged at the start of each billing period.

Refunds: We offer refunds only within 30 days of your initial signup. After this period, all charges are non-refundable.

To cancel your subscription, contact us at [email protected]. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

You retain ownership of all data you bring into the Service through integrations or direct input ("Your Data"). You grant Laminar a limited, non-exclusive license to access, process, and store Your Data solely as necessary to provide and improve the Service. We do not sell Your Data to third parties.

The Service, including all software, design, and content, is owned by Volk Product Labs, LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you a right to use our trademarks, logos, or brand names.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Volk Product Labs, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data or profits. Our total liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion, with or without notice. To request account deletion, contact us at [email protected]. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Minnesota, without regard to conflict of law principles.
